Chris Christopher
Special Assistant to the Executive Director
Chris Christopher provides support and serves as a liaison to the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission in various federal government-specific areas, as well as provides IT and technology support.
Chris served 30 years with the United States Navy (Active and Reserve). He has worked in federal government for 35 years with organizations including United States Department of Agriculture, Department of Homeland Security, and the World War I Centennial Commission. He also is a member of the Board of Directors of the Doughboy Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the vision to “Keep Faith with the American Doughboy.”
Chris earned both his B.A. in Drama and his Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Creative Writing from the University of New Orleans.
