The Deborah Avery Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution are hosting a Grave Marker Dedication in honor of Clark Harrington, son of Patriot Abraham Harrington at the Fairmont Cemetery.

Clark Harrington was born on July 10, 1804, in Shaftsbury, Vermont. He was one of ten children born to Abraham and Electa Harrington. Clark's father, Abraham, was a patriot in the American Revolution serving in Connecticut and Rhode Island. Clark married Aurilla Galusha. They had five children, four of which moved west. Clark and Aurilla moved to Wisconsin with their daughter, Caroline and her family. Caroline and her family move to Fillmore County, Nebraska, after Aurilla passes away in Wisconsin, Clark then moved to Nebraska to be near his daughter. Clark died on January 3, 1895 at the age of 90. He is buried in Fairmont Cemetery.
