Celebrate America's 250th Anniversary on the water with the Fort Pierce Yacht Club's 16th Annual Patriotic Boat Parade & Blessing of the Fleet on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
This beloved Independence Day tradition invites boaters from across the Treasure Coast to decorate their vessels in patriotic red, white, and blue and participate in a festive boat parade through the Fort Pierce Inlet. As part of this milestone year, we've set a goal of 250 boats in honor of America's 250th Anniversary. *Goal not guaranteed - we need YOU to PARTICIPATE!
The boat parade begins at 11:00 a.m., with vessels gathering at 10:30 a.m. in the Turning Basin near Derecktor Shipyards. The event will also feature a special Blessing of the Fleet led by Rev. Canon Dr. Audley Donaldson, from a boat anchored east of Wesley's Island honoring the boating community and wishing safe seas to all who take to the water.
Participation is open to all boaters, including personal watercraft and eFoilers. Spectators are welcome to enjoy the parade from public viewing areas along the Fort Pierce waterfront, including Jetty Park, Museum Pointe Park (address used for the event as biggest viewing area), South Causeway Beach, and locations along Seaway Drive.
Admission is free for participants and spectators.
