What does America mean to you?

As a girl, growing up in America today means I have opportunities. It was not always fair in America. Two hundred years ago girls did not have the same opportunities as boys. Education, jobs and voting were not the same for girls and boys. Now, girls rights are protected by the constitution. In the future, I would like to pursue my education to become a glaciologist. I cannot do that without an education. I would also like to have my voice heard by my vote. I am grateful girls fought for their rights in America so I can be me!
