Washington, D.C. — April 29, 2026 — America250, the national nonpartisan organization leading the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the United States, today announced a partnership with Chick-fil-A, recognizing the company’s longstanding commitment to serving communities, fostering the entrepreneurial spirit, and supporting economic opportunity across the United States.

As part of the partnership, Chick-fil-A will support America Gives, by engaging its network of local Owner-Operators, their Team Members and community partners in service initiatives tied to the largest coordinated volunteer effort in U.S. history.

“As America marks its 250th anniversary, partnerships like this highlight the organizations that have strengthened communities and defined our nation’s spirit of service,” said Rosie Rios, Chair of America250. “Chick-fil-A has demonstrated a commitment to leadership, opportunity, and care across communities nationwide. Together, we will inspire Americans to mark this historic milestone through service with a shared sense of purpose.”

The partnership comes at a meaningful moment for Chick-fil-A, which is celebrating 80 years in business.

Chick-fil-A has become one of the country’s most recognized brands, with its restaurants built to create positive impact in the communities in which it operates. Through initiatives focused on community hunger, education, and disaster response, Chick-fil-A has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to giving back and advancing opportunity for others.

“Chick-fil-A is honored to support America250 and celebrate our nation’s history alongside generous organizations that have helped so many achieve their vision of the American Dream,” said Andrew T. Cathy, CEO of Chick-fil-A, Inc. “Every day our Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operators and their Restaurant Team Members demonstrate care in meaningful ways in the communities they serve. Their examples inspire me, and I hope they inspire others to serve and make a positive impact in their neighborhoods and the places they call home.”

Chick-fil-A’s community impact includes Chick-fil-A’s Shared Table program, which donates surplus food to charitable organizations to feed people in need, and the Remarkable Futures scholarship program which has awarded $244 million to Restaurant Team Members. The company’s focus on leadership development and service has helped create pathways to opportunity for thousands of individuals nationwide.

About America250

America250 is the national nonpartisan initiative working to engage every American in celebrating and commemorating the Semiquincentennial, the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. It is spearheaded by the congressionally-appointed U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission and its sole-supporting nonprofit organization, America250.org, Inc., together known as America250. This multi-year effort kicked off with America’s Invitation on July 4, 2023: a national public engagement campaign inviting all Americans to share their stories and their hopes and dreams for the future of this country. Leading up to July 4, 2026, America250 is working to provide opportunities for all Americans to pause and reflect on our nation’s past, honor the contributions of all Americans, and look to the future we want to create for the next generation and beyond.
