America250 Welcomes Ambassador Monica Crowley as Principal Media Representative for Nation’s Semiquincentennial

Washington, D.C. – America250 is proud to announce that at President Donald J. Trump’s direction, Ambassador Monica Crowley, Chief of Protocol of the United States, will serve as principal media representative for America250.

As Chief of Protocol, Crowley serves as America’s Ambassador for major U.S.-hosted events, including the celebration of America’s 250th birthday, the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, California.

In addition, Crowley will engage the media and the public in support of America250, a Federation comprised by three distinct organizations: the U.S. Semiquincentennial Congressional Commission, America250.org and the White House Task Force 250, working in concert to plan and celebrate the historic 250th anniversary of American independence on July 4, 2026.

Crowley brings exceptional public service and communications experience to this aspect of her position. During President Trump’s first term, Crowley served with distinction as Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Public Affairs, where she was awarded the Department’s highest honor—the Alexander Hamilton Award—in recognition of her exemplary leadership and service.

A prominent and accomplished writer and broadcaster, Crowley is a New York Times bestselling author and a respected political and foreign affairs analyst on the Fox News Channel and other networks and platforms. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University and two Master’s degrees and a Doctorate in International Relations from Columbia University. “Ambassador Crowley’s dedication to public service, love for diplomacy, and sheer talent make her the perfect representative of America250,” said Ari Abergel, Executive Director of the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission. “Her leadership and unwavering commitment to President Trump’s extraordinary vision will ensure these milestone moments reflect the very best of America.”
