On a cold December night in 1773, American colonists took a bold stand against British rule, dumping 342 chests of tea into Boston Harbor in protest of taxation without representation. The Boston Tea Party became a defining act of resistance, igniting a movement that would lead to revolution and independence. More than 250 years later, its legacy reminds us of the power of civic action and the enduring American spirit of standing up for justice, freedom, and self-determination.
