Boone’s Trace Hike – The 250th Anniversary of the Settling of Kentucky

Get ready for an epic journey into history! To mark the 250 anniversary of Daniel Boone and the trailblazers carving Boone's trace into Kentucky, we’re following in their historic footsteps. Starting from Kingsport, TN, teams of explorers will hike roughly 10 miles daily, symbolically passing an ax along the way to Fort Boonesborough, KY. Along the 250-mile route, you can also take part in special events. It’s a journey into the past, and you’re invited!
