We look forward to welcoming you to the 250th Anniversary of the U.S. Army Grand Military Parade and Celebration with President Donald J. Trump in Washington, DC on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

This historic occasion will commemorate two and a half centuries of service, sacrifice and excellence by the United States Army. The evening’s grand event will feature a powerful display of military heritage and innovation, including historical reenactments and ceremonial flyovers.

Please carefully review the following details and instructions:

  • Saturday, June 14, 2025
  • GUEST ENTRY: 2:00 PM
  • EVENT: 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM
  • The Parade will take place on Constitution Avenue NW between 23rd Street and 15th Street in Washington, D.C.
  • This event will be OUTDOORS. Please dress in accordance with the weather, rain or shine.
Guest Arrival Information

Due to road closures and anticipated crowds, please allocate additional time to arrive at the security checkpoints.

  • There are two security checkpoints for the parade that guests may enter at:
    • 14th St. between Madison and Jefferson
    • C St. between 18th and 19th

A wheelchair accessible area is located near the corner of Constitution Ave and 15th St on the Washington Monument Grounds. An ASL Interpreter will be located near 15th St on the Washington Monument Grounds.

The Army Festival is taking place on the National Mall between 9th St and 14th St. The Security Checkpoint to Enter the Army Festival is at the Mall and 9th. Guests may enter starting at 8:00 AM.

Metro Service

Due to extensive road closures and parking restrictions, attendees are encouraged to use MetroRail service to access these events. The Metrorail system will be offering normal Saturday service.

At the Smithsonian Station, due to the security perimeter for the Festival on the National Mall, the Mall Entrance at Jefferson Drive for Smithsonian Station will be closed. The station will still be available to customers through Independence Avenue at 12 Street SW.

  • For those heading to the National Mall for the festival, customers are advised to use other Metro stations including L’Enfant Plaza, Federal Center SW, or Archives Navy Memorial to access the area.
  • For those viewing the parade, customers may use Farragut West, Farragut North, Federal Triangle, and Archives Navy Memorial to access check points.
Notable Road Closures

Friday, June 13 at 12:01 a.m. through Monday, June 16 at 6:00 a.m.:

  • Independence Avenue between 23 Street and 12 Street, Southwest
  • 14 Street south of Pennsylvania Avenue, Northwest
  • Rock Creek Parkway south of Virginia Avenue, Northwest

Friday, June 13 at 6:00 p.m. through Sunday, June 15 at 6:00 a.m.:

  • George Washington Memorial Parkway both directions between U.S. 50 and I-395

Guest Security Information

All guests will be screened by the United States Secret Service upon entry into the event.
