Become a Rose Parade Volunteer

Volunteers Needed!

America250 is proud to sponsor a float in the 137th Rose Parade® on Thursday, January 1, 2026 in Pasadena, California.

We’re looking for a group of dedicated volunteers to serve as float decorators during “Decorating Week,” December 26 – 30, 2025. This is when fresh flowers are applied to the float and final preparations are made before Final Float Judging on December 31.

No prior experience is needed, however, commitment and follow through are crucial to ensure that we complete the decoration process in this limited time frame. Volunteers must be at least 12 years of age.

Volunteers will work in 8-hour shifts each day: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, or 4:00 – 11:00 pm. You must be able to commit to the full 8-hour shift to participate. You are welcome, and encouraged, to assist on multiple days if possible!

Float decorators will apply fresh flowers to the float during Decorating week, December 26–30, 2025. Every surface of the float needs to be covered during this brief timeframe.

You may need to climb scaffolding to access some parts of the float, but this is not required for all decorators. You could also be lying on concrete or the float itself and could get dirty.

Special glue is used to adhere the flowers to the float, so you should wear clothing you are willing to ruin.

The float itself is kept under a roof, but the float barn is open to the outdoor elements. Layers are advisable as the facility is kept cool to keep the flowers fresh.

Wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty, and possibly ruined by the special glue used to adhere flowers to the float. Wear comfortable, warm shoes, as the floor of the float barn is concrete. Layers are advisable as the facility is kept cool to keep the flowers fresh.

Plan on bringing your own food. Some snacks and beverages may be provided either complimentary or for sale.

Please do not bring other items, such as large backpacks or personal seating, as there is not space to accommodate these in the float barn.

The float barn is located at Fiesta Productions, 16016 Avenida Padilla, Irwindale, CA 91702. It is easily accessible by vehicle via the Foothill Freeway (I-210) at Irwindale Blvd exit. Convenient public transportation is also available via LAX/Metro Transit System San Gabriel Valley – Irwindale stop.

For security purposes, you’ll need to check in and be provided with credentials to access the float barn.

You’ll be provided with further details after signing up.

Please fill out the form below to provide your contact information and indicate which shifts you are available for. You must be able to commit to a full 8-hour shift to select that timeslot.

You’ll receive a confirmation email after submitting the form. Volunteers will be contacted in the coming weeks with additional information and to confirm assigned timeslots.

If you have a small group of volunteers (fewer than 5), please complete the registration form below multiple times – once per person.

If you have a group of five or more people to register, please contact Carole Curran at a250petalpushers@gmail.com. Please include the names of everyone in your group, phone numbers and email addresses for each person, and a clear indication of which shifts each person is available to work.
