Position Summary

The Office Manager will work with the Director of Operations and Internal Communications to provide office management support making key decisions about business matters. This position oversees the day-to-day operations of the Americas250 Washington, D.C. location, ensuring smooth functioning by managing all operational and administrative tasks. The Office Manager will be responsible for a wide range of duties, which include but are not limited to managing certain America250 events, assisting with certain archival projects, scheduling meetings, managing office supplies, coordinating communication, organizing collateral and mailings, coordinating with facilities, utilities and building managers and ensuring compliance with company policies, all while striving to create a productive and organized work environment. This role will oversee the College Internship program by working with the V.P. of Human Resources with the recruitment and hiring of spring and summer interns. This position reports functionally to the Director of Internal Operations and Internal Communications. The Executive Vice President serves as their manager for leave approval and performance evaluations.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business studies, administration, communications, human resources, or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience managing office operations and supporting a team
  • Experience with Google Suite office products such as Calendar, Docs, Gmail, Sheets, and Slides
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite office products such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $59,513 – $82,800
  • Hiring Range: $65,000 – $75,000
  • 4 weeks Vacation, full benefits, 12 holidays, Winter Break
  • 401(k) match
