95th annual Athens Old Fiddlers Contest & Reunion

Athens Old Fiddlers Reunion & the Lone Star Fiddle Championship is the oldest, continuous running fiddle contest in Texas surrounded by a festival on the Henderson County Square with live music, classic car show, fair foods, arts & craft vendors, domino tournament, armadillo races and street dances with some of the best Western Swing Bands in the country. You can't get more of a traditional event to commemorate our patriotism & 250 year birthday. Fiddle music was held at barn dances and hoe downs since the founding of this country.
