The Hilltop Schoolhouse 250/150 Celebration will feature students of today saluting the students of Hilltop with poetry and readings, and with activities handed down from the late 1800's to mid 1900's logging, railroad, and ranching town of Hilltop, Colorado. The 1898 schoolhouse, the community's primary gathering place, is the only public building still standing in Hilltop. Through displays, a collection of printed materials, memoirs, and photographs, a slide show, and hands-on activities, today's community learns about their local history. This year, the Sons of the American Revolution will contribute to our patriotic celebration with a color guard presentation.

We’ve always been a nation of givers. Imagine what could happen if we all gave at the same time. Introducing Giving 4th, our campaign that calls on all Americans to add something new to their July 4th celebrations: giving back to the causes and communities they care about.
