Addison Kaboom Town!®

Addison Kaboom Town!® is one of the most iconic Independence Day celebrations in the United States and one of the largest single-day events in Texas, approximately more than 500,000 attendees annually to the Town of Addison and surrounding areas. For over four decades, the event has celebrated the spirit of freedom, patriotism, and community that defines both Texas and America. Held each year on July 3, Kaboom Town!® features a nationally recognized 30-minute fireworks display consistently ranked among the best in the country, an airshow showcasing historic warbirds and modern aircraft in tribute to American aviation and military service, live patriotic entertainment, and family-friendly festival activities including interactive games, food vendors, and community gathering spaces. Corporate and community watch parties throughout Addison expand the celebration into a town-wide experience that unites residents, businesses, and visitors from across North Texas and beyond.

In alignment with Texas America250, Addison Kaboom Town!® will intentionally incorporate messaging and programming that honors 250 years of American independence while highlighting Texas’ role in our nation’s history. Tributes to veterans and active-duty service members, educational elements recognizing the America250 milestone, and integrated promotional campaigns starting before the Addison Kaboom Town!® event will reinforce themes of civic pride, service, unity, and opportunity. With its scale, visibility, and long-standing patriotic tradition, Addison Kaboom Town!® provides a powerful and meaningful platform to celebrate America’s Semiquincentennial while bringing hundreds of thousands together in a shared expression of freedom and Texas pride.
