America250 Dinner, Service & Watch Party

The America250 Dinner, Service & Watch Party is a large-scale, family-centered community celebration designed to bring people together through connection, service, and shared patriotism.

The evening begins with an outdoor dinner experience, where more than 1,000 attendees gather around 100+ round tables, creating a welcoming, neighborhood-style atmosphere. Complimentary food is paired with patriotic décor and music, setting the tone for a meaningful and memorable night.

Throughout the event, guests of all ages may participate in a variety of hands-on service projects—each designed to be completed while seated. Youth, families, and adults work together to assemble hygiene kits, write letters to military members and veterans, and create cards for seniors, turning the dinner tables into spaces of purpose and impact.

As the sun sets, the event transitions into a dual indoor and outdoor watch party featuring the Tabernacle Choir performance. A large LED screen outdoors anchors the experience, while indoor viewing provides additional capacity—ensuring everyone can comfortably participate.

To make the evening especially engaging for children and youth, thoughtful elements are woven throughout: America250-themed placemats for coloring, simple goodie bags, and a festive children’s bike parade during intermission—bringing energy, color, and celebration to the night.

In addition, youth lead a complimentary car wash for veterans and senior citizens, offering a visible act of gratitude and service that extends beyond the tables.
