Step back in time to the historic Bluff SchuetzenFest, where shooting kings reigned, beer taps flowed, and families forgot their worries for a day. Experience our annual festival honoring the legacy of brewmaster Heinrich Kreische and his thriving German-Texan community. The event includes a 5K at 8 am then the festivities start at noon. The main event is a beer fest, live music, food, and activities for all ages. Our location has Monument Hill which commemorates Texans killed in the 1842 Dawson Massacre and the 1843 Black Bean Lottery of the Mier Expedition.
