The BOLDERBoulder has always been for everyone regardless of ability. Our mantra is "Oh Yes You Can!" We have walking, jogging and running waves so everyone can enjoy all 10 kilometers at their own pace.
The BOLDERBoulder was founded in 1979 as a small, local 10K, and since has grown to be the third largest running events in the United States.
We remain locally owned and operated. Every year, we celebrate Memorial Day with over 48,000 participants and 80,000 spectators.
The finish line is at the University of Colorado's Folsom Field, which becomes the perfect venue for everyone to gather and watch the professional race and the Memorial Day Tribute.
The International Pro Team Challenge attracts some of the best athletes from around the world. They finish in the packed stadium with a cheering crowd. Then everyone stays to watch the grand finale, the Memorial Day Tribute, which begins promptly at high noon.
