Cripple Creek, Colorado 80813 - 10:00 AM-5:00 PM
Join us in historic downtown Cripple Creek on August 1, 2026, for a high-altitude celebration of Colorado's 150th year of statehood and America's 250th anniversary. As a city built on the grit and gold that shaped the West, Cripple Creek is the perfect backdrop to honor the "Centennial State" during this landmark Sesquicentennial year. We are transforming Bennett Avenue into a three-block festival of history, horsepower, and heritage.
Block-by-Block Festivities
Explore the unique character of our community through three distinct zones of activity:
• 200 Block | The Rambler 500: Witness the creativity and "rugged individualism" of the Rocky Mountain Rambler 500. This fan-favorite event features a wild array of beater cars—uniquely modified and decorated vehicles that embody the adventurous, DIY spirit that has defined Coloradans for 150 years.
• 300 Block | Concerts, Food & Vendors: The heart of the party features live music, food trucks serving up regional favorites, and retail vendors.
• 400 Block | Motorcycle Showcase: Feel the thunder on the 400 block, dedicated to the motorcycles and riders who traverse our scenic mountain passes. This display celebrates the modern-day explorers who keep the frontier spirit alive on two wheels.
Whether you are a lifelong Coloradan, a mechanical enthusiast, or a visitor looking to experience an authentic mountain town celebration, there is something for you. We welcome families, gearheads, and history lovers to join us in marking this once-in-a-lifetime dual anniversary.
August 1st marks the date Colorado entered the Union in 1876. Our event serves as an official node in the statewide America 250 - Colorado 150 commemoration, reflecting on our shared history while celebrating the vibrant, community-driven culture of Cripple Creek today.
Help us honor our past and rev up for the future!
