Celebrate the 35th Anniversary Colorado Mountain Winefest on September 19, 2026, in Palisade, Colorado, an elevated, immersive experience showcasing the very best of the state's wine, food, and culture. Set against the scenic backdrop of Riverbend Park, this reimagined festival invites guests to sip, savor, and explore Colorado's premier wine region in a thoughtfully curated, single-session event designed to delight every sense.
As Colorado commemorates its 150th anniversary of statehood and the nation celebrates America's 250th anniversary, the 2026 Colorado Mountain Winefest offers a meaningful way to honor the pioneering spirit, agricultural roots, and entrepreneurial vision that have shaped both the state and the country. Colorado's wine industry reflects this legacy, transforming a high-desert landscape into a thriving and innovative wine region through dedication, craftsmanship, and community.
This 35th anniversary event introduces a refined, upscale format with limited capacity, ensuring a relaxed and intimate atmosphere for fewer than 2,000 attendees. Guests will enjoy tastings from Colorado's finest wineries, paired with gourmet cuisine crafted by Colorado Mesa University Tech Culinary students. The festival experience is enhanced with shaded lounges, live music, interactive activations, lawn games, and captivating ice carving demonstrations, all designed to create a vibrant yet sophisticated ambiance.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with Colorado winemakers, chefs, and producers, gaining a deeper appreciation for the people and practices behind each glass. From vine to table, the event celebrates the intersection of agriculture, tourism, and local craftsmanship, key pillars of Colorado's heritage and future.
Three ticket tiers—Reserve, Signature, and Concierge, offer thoughtfully curated ways to experience the festival. Reserve guests enjoy early entry, access to a private pavilion, elevated cuisine, and concierge wine services in an exclusive, refined setting. Signature guests receive full access to tastings, culinary offerings, and all festival activations throughout the park. Concierge tickets provide a welcoming option for non-tasting guests, with access to gourmet bites, non-alcoholic beverages, and entertainment.
Colorado Mountain Winefest draws wine enthusiasts, travelers, industry professionals, and community members from across the region and beyond, serving as both a celebration and an economic driver for the Grand Valley. Proceeds from the event support the Colorado Association for Viticulture & Enology (CAVE), the state's only nonprofit dedicated to supporting winemakers and grape growers.
By blending history, agriculture, and innovation, the 35th Anniversary Colorado Mountain Winefest is a signature event for the America 250 and Colorado 150 commemorations, honoring the past, celebrating the present, and raising a glass to the future of Colorado wine and American agriculture.
