The Community Celebration: Nepali Jatra & Inclusive Communities Revival is a vibrant, multicultural event that brings together residents and visitors to honor the diverse people, cultures, and traditions that shape Longmont and the state of Colorado. As part of the America 250 – Colorado 150 commemoration, this event reflects the spirit of the anniversary by celebrating shared history while uplifting the unique voices and cultural contributions that continue to define Colorado today.

Marking the 5th anniversary of Nepali Jatra and the revival of Longmont's Celebration of Inclusive Communities, this special gathering serves as a meaningful opportunity to recognize the evolving story of Colorado—one built not only on its past, but also on the lived experiences of its current communities. The event highlights how cultural diversity strengthens our state and reflects the ongoing commitment to inclusion, connection, and belonging.

Attendees will experience a rich array of cultural offerings, including food samples and booths representing communities from across Longmont, providing an opportunity to learn, share, and connect through traditions and cuisine. The celebration will also feature live music and cultural performances, showcasing the talents and stories of community members. In addition, participants can explore a curated art experience at the Firehouse Gallery's Out of the Box Summer Market, further emphasizing creativity and cultural expression.

More than a festival, this event creates a welcoming space for people to meet neighbors, build relationships, and deepen understanding across cultures. It embodies the goals of the America 250 – Colorado 150 commemoration by fostering unity while honoring the distinct identities that contribute to Colorado's shared story.

Free and open to the public, the Community Celebration invites all to take part in this joyful and meaningful experience—celebrating connection, culture, and the collective future of Longmont and Colorado.
