In 2026, the Trails & Rails Museum presents Constitutional Freedoms, an exhibit exploring how the rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution have shaped Buffalo County’s past and present. Featuring artifacts and stories from the museum’s collections, the exhibit connects landmark amendments to local experiences of speech, citizenship, justice, and democracy. Constitutional Freedoms invites visitors to discover how national principles are lived out in their own community.

Giving 4th

A new tradition starts now.

We’ve always been a nation of givers. Imagine what could happen if we all gave at the same time. Introducing Giving 4th, our campaign that calls on all Americans to add something new to their July 4th celebrations: giving back to the causes and communities they care about.
Join the new tradition — take the pledge.
