Cripple Creek 4th of July

Join us in the heart of the Pikes Peak region for a monumental 4th of July as we honor America's 250th anniversary and Colorado's 150th anniversary. Our 2026 celebration weaves together our rich mining heritage, local artistry, and the enduring spirit of the American West for a full day of community connection and patriotic pride.

Festivities will kick off early and run through the night, offering something for history buffs, art lovers, and families alike.
• 4th of July Parade: Experience a classic procession featuring local floats and community groups marching down Bennett Avenue (Start Time TBD).
• American Legion Block Party: Hosted by the American Legion Post 171, the lower side of the 300 block on Bennett Avenue will comes alive with live music and vendors.
• Cripple Creek Heritage Center Art Show: From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, come explore artistical works highlighting the rugged beauty and vibrant history of our high-altitude home.
• Gem & Mineral Show: Located at the Cripple Creek District Museum (running July 3–5), the Lake George Gem & Mineral Club presents a stunning display of Colorado's geological treasures from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Fireworks Over the Rockies: As darkness falls, we'll conclude our anniversary celebration with a spectacular fireworks display (weather and fire conditions permitting).
