Dawes County Historical Museum Garden Party

This is our fundraiser event for the spring. Our theme is "Heroes", we will hold it outside at the Museum . We are located south of Chadron, NE at 341 Country Club Road with good signage to help you find your way. We will have a Hero award presented to a Board Member, Roger Wess by Bob Wickersham. In addition several quilts of valor will be presented. A member of the American Legion Auxiliary will explain how Chadron is responsible for making all the poppies for the state of Nebraska. Our program will end with some patriotic music provided by Jack Issacs and a program by the American Legion Honor Guard. There will be door prizes and treats. One door prize will be a mug that celebrates the years 1776, when America became an independent country and the year 1885 when Chadron became a Nebraska city.
