Earth Day at Greater Parkview Church

Serve shoulder-to-shoulder with volunteers from The Mission Continues, which was recently acquired by Travis Manion Foundation. Veterans in Service projects like this one are made possible by support from Navy Federal Credit Union.

Join us this Earth Day as we come together to serve Greater Parkview Church and the many families they support.

This community hub houses a daycare, before- and after-school programs, youth groups, a food pantry, and more. Our work will help refresh and strengthen a space that gives back every day.

Volunteer Activities Include:

• Indoor Projects
• Painting
• Organizing classrooms and storage areas
• Outdoor Projects
• Moving gravel and mulch
• Cleaning playground equipment
• Building planter boxes
• Creating a children’s dirt box and mud kitchen

Additional Support: Dumpster onsite — volunteers will help clear out and dispose of old storage materials
Supplies Provided: All paint, lumber, tools, and materials will be provided.
Food & Drinks: Lunch and refreshments will be provided for all volunteers.
