Montrose Regional Library is partnering with the Ute Indian Museum and Montrose Center for Arts for a free program about the significance of ethnobotany in Ute culture, history and present day practices. As part of the 250-150 celebration, this program aims to explore an aspect of Ute Indian heritage that is a unique part of the Montrose community. Participants will be guided on a tour of the museum's ethnobotany garden, followed by time to create art inspired by the natural surroundings and a documentary in the museum theater. Art instruction is provided by a local artist and supplies are included with registration. Registration is required - 15 spots are available.
