The New England Folds of Honor Classic was founded in 2023 to support the mission of Folds of Honor — providing educational scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members and first responders.
The Classic brings together veterans, families, business leaders, and community supporters from across New England for a day dedicated to honoring service, supporting families, and strengthening our community’s commitment to those who have sacrificed for our country.
More than a golf tournament, the New England Folds of Honor Classic is an opportunity to recognize the legacy of service while helping ensure that the families left behind have the educational opportunities they deserve.
The event was established in 2023 by co-chairs Dave Lyons and Chad Wagner, who shared a vision of creating a signature Folds of Honor event for New England that would both celebrate patriotism and provide meaningful support for the families served by Folds of Honor.
Through the generosity of sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and supporters, the Classic has quickly grown into one of the leading Folds of Honor fundraising events in the Northeast. Since its founding, the New England Folds of Honor Classic has helped raise more than $590,000 in support of Folds of Honor scholarships, helping provide life-changing educational opportunities for the families of fallen and disabled service members and first responders.
Together, we honor sacrifice, support families, and help build futures through education.
Established in 2007 by Lt Col Dan Rooney, Folds of Honor has awarded over 73,000 scholarships to the spouses and children of those killed or disabled in service to our country. We provide healing, hope, and the opportunity for dreams to be realized—all made possible through the support of patriots like you. Together, we ensure no family is left behind on the field of battle. It is through the efforts of proud wingmen across the nation that we honor the sacrifice of those who serve by educating their legacy.
