Old Fort Niagara presents ongoing living history demonstrations of skills and trades needed to build the French Castle as well as programs about soldier life and the interaction between the French and Indigenous peoples. Scheduled Activities: 10:00 a.m. Fort opens to the public. 11:00 a.m. Recreation of Chaussegros DeLery's arrival aboard a sailing ship. 11:30 a.m. Laying out the Fort - an interactive demonstration of early 18th century military engineering. 1:00 p.m. Arrival of Seneca diplomats and council with the French. 2:00 p.m. Rededication of the French Castle by officials from the United States, Canada and France. 3:00 p.m. Artillery Salute.
