Frisco, Colorado 80443 - 10:00 AM-6:00 PM
This annual event celebrates the history of Frisco, Colorado, in a fun, family atmosphere. For the 250-150, our focus this year will be on the industries that drove Colorado towards statehood, as well as what the area now known as Frisco looked like before statehood.
Demonstrations of flint knapping, blacksmithing, and woodworking will take place, and old-school photography will be available on site. A craft tent, gold panning, burro rides, and face painting will be here for our younger visitors. A dozen local vendors and non-profits will be on site, providing education on topics related to local wildlife and plant life, mining, and railroads. Three musical acts will perform throughout the day, including one on the indigenous history of music. This event is entirely free to the public! Non-profits and food trucks will be selling food and snacks on site.
