Mesa County Libraries is happy to participate in the America 250 - Colorado 150 Commemoration as the nation celebrates 250 years of independence along with the 150 year anniversary of Colorado becoming a state.

The History at High Noon talks typically take place on a monthly basis at the Central Library in Grand Junction from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and are free of charge for the public to attend. This presentation will cover the history of several hospitals that served the Fruita, Colorado community in the past 100 years. Included in the discussion are the early Railroad Hospital, the Fruita Community Hospital, and the current Family Health West hospital.

Speaker Errol Snider currently serves as the Family Health West chaplain. He has been connected with the hospital for over 26 years, serving in administrative positions, including as Chief Operating Officer for over two decades as a member of the board of directors.
