In honor of America’s 250th Birthday, the Frisco Heritage Museum proudly presents the Liberty Lantern Trail in conjunction with Becoming the United States. This stunning nighttime journey illuminated by 250 glowing lanterns, beginning at Jones Park and concluding at the historic Heritage Center. Each lantern shines as a symbol of liberty, with every tenth lantern highlighting a key moment of the American Revolution—from the first shots at Lexington and Concord, to Paul Revere’s daring ride, to the bravery at Bunker Hill, and culminating in the victory at Yorktown.

Take the Giving 4th Pledge

A new tradition starts now.

We’ve always been a nation of givers. Imagine what could happen if we all gave at the same time. Introducing Giving 4th, our campaign that calls on all Americans to add something new to their July 4th celebrations: giving back to the causes and communities they care about.
Join the new tradition.
