This June, plan a trip to Springfield to see a rare, signed copy of the Emancipation Proclamation—on display for a limited time at the ALPLM Library Building with no admission fee.

On display weekdays, June 13-26. Special Saturday viewing June 14.

Signed by President Lincoln, Sec of State Seward, and Lincoln’s aide John Nicolay. Fewer than 30 signed copies exist today.
