Museum Exhibit Grand Opening – “In Search of a Homeland: The Journey of the Germans from Russia”

This open house event gives visitors a chance to visit the new permanent exhibit at the Germans from Russia Heritage Collection and learn about the remarkable story of this distinct ethnic group. Through historical photographs, artifacts, maps, audio, video, and interactive experiences, the exhibit explores themes of migration, faith, family, community, hardship, and the search for a lasting homeland.

Also, learn more by visiting booths from the NDSU Press, Tri-County Tourism Alliance, Friends of the Welk Homestead, Emily Reynolds Historic Costume Collection, NDSU Archives and Institute for Regional Studies.
