Music in the Chamber: 1876-1926

Stockton Helbing and his Helbing Jazz Initiative project will celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with a musical examination of the roots of America’s beautiful original art form: jazz. Stockton and his band will take the audience on a fun musical romp through the birth of jazz music in New Orleans at the end of the 19th century and the songs and artists that ushered in the new sounds of jazz in the early 20th century.
