Three Weekends. Three Regions. All History. In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, Open Doors to History invites exploration across St. Lawrence County through a series of free and donation-based access days at historic sites, museums, and cultural spaces. Held on three Saturdays, each date highlights a different region—creating an easy way to move from stop to stop while experiencing the places, architecture, and stories that define the North Country. Some locations may offer added elements throughout the day, from small exhibits and photo opportunities to unique on-site experiences. A commemorative 250th Challenge Coin experience ties the series together.

Giving 4th

A new tradition starts now.

We’ve always been a nation of givers. Imagine what could happen if we all gave at the same time. Introducing Giving 4th, our campaign that calls on all Americans to add something new to their July 4th celebrations: giving back to the causes and communities they care about.
Join the new tradition — take the pledge.
