Celebrate America’s semiquincentennial at the Ozarks 250 Block Party! The Shiloh Museum campus will transform into a vibrant community festival honoring the rich, diverse cultural tapestry of the region. This free celebration features a massive lineup of regional partners and the debut of a brand-new exhibit, Our Changing Landscape, offering a unique Ozarks perspective on America's 250th birthday. Event Highlights Include: Live Music: Country singer-songwriter and Gar Hole Records founder Nick Shoulders Cultural Dance: Chinese Association of NWA, Nkauj Hmoob Puavpheej, NWA Historic Dancers, Ocean Wave, Ra-Ve Cultural Foundation, and traditional square dancing with the Shiloh Old Time Pickers Presentations: Insights from regional experts Brooks Blevins, Brandon Weston, Emily Pianalto-Beshears, and Stephanie Carter Family Activities: 19th-century games with the Old State House Museum, crafts with The Scott Family Amazeum, the Crystal Bridges Mobile Art Lab, and hands-on nature fun with the J.B. and Johnelle Hunt Family Ozark Highlands Nature Center Heritage & Fun: Traditional woodworking and blacksmithing demonstrations, mini-train rides, community cultural displays, and local food trucks!
