Rockport Art Festival

Rockport Center for the Arts hosts the Rockport Art Festival, a two-day juried art festival held annually over Fourth of July weekend. Now in its 58th year, the festival is a longstanding community tradition, and this year it opens on Saturday, July 4, providing a meaningful opportunity to engage our community in the national commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary.
The festival welcomes more than 10,000 visitors each year and brings together over 120 juried artists, families, residents, and visitors in a shared celebration of creativity and community. As a rural coastal community, Rockport offers an important platform for highlighting the voices, stories, and cultural contributions of rural Americans. In addition to fine art, the festival includes live music, a children’s art tent, and educational activities that encourage participation across generations.
