How can one capture the Colorado experience? From the majestic landscape to scenes of everyday life, artists here have been depicting our colorful and unique stories since before the territory became a state in 1876. Printmaking has a long history in Colorado, and because prints can be reproduced in large numbers, the medium makes the work of its creators available to a wider audience.

In "'Round the Clock: 24 Hours of Colorado in Prints," we look at an imaginary day in the life of Colorado through the eyes of printmakers, one hour at a time. The media and techniques are as varied and diverse as the people and places they represent.
