The Smithsonian Institution Building, known as the “Castle,” is pausing its first major renovation in more than 50 years to re-open for America's 250th birthday.
The Castle will reopen to the public from Memorial Day through Labor Day in 2026 and feature a visitor’s center, café, shop, and special exhibition. More details to come!
