Star-Spangled Birthday Bash

Highlands Ranch, Colorado is reimagining its Independence Day celebration with the new Star-Spangled Birthday Bash at Highland Heritage Regional Park on Thursday, July 2, beginning at 6 p.m.

The Highlands Ranch Community Association, Highlands Ranch Metro District, and Douglas County are partnering to bring the community together for a safe and memorable holiday celebration. Due to extreme drought conditions and elevated fire danger across the region, this year's fireworks display has been canceled in the interest of public safety.

But the celebration is still on! Enjoy a festive evening filled with live music, patriotic spirit, and family-friendly fun. This free event will feature local bluegrass favorite Ragged Union from 6–7 p.m., followed by an energetic headlining performance by 2025 Colorado Country Male Vocalist of the Year Jeff Goodwin and the Front Range Cowboys from 7:30–9 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, gather with friends and neighbors, and celebrate as Highlands Ranch begins commemorating the nation's 250th anniversary.
