The Steel City Arkansas River Festival (SCARF) is a summer river festival that provides a unique opportunity to celebrate the region's natural beauty and outdoor recreational offerings. The Steel City Arkansas River Festival will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Building on the community support from last year, SCARF will again have a variety of aspects to appeal to a wide array of festival goers. A village with local non-profits focusing on outdoor recreation and water safety, to local food, beer garden and other vendors. Back by popular demand is the Build Your Own Boat (BYOB) Race and Freestyle River Surf Competition (water level dependent). Live music will begin after the awards for the BYOB Race and River Surf Competition concludes. The Paddle and Bike Parade will have a 150/250 costume contest, where participants can dress up in their favorite Colorado outfits for a chance will gift cards to local restaurants. A free shuttles service will also be offered at SCARF, to help with parking and lessen the carbon footprint. Join us in Pueblo along the Arkansas River for a full day of fun with the family!
