Step Forward Awards Luncheon

The Step Forward Awards is an opportunity for Nebraskans to be honored for their selfless service to others and their communities. This is Nebraska's premier recognition program for volunteer service, with honorees personally selected by the Governor. Nebraskans gladly take on the responsibility of strengthening their communities, helping their neighbors, and take pride in accomplishing extraordinary deeds of service.

Ten categories of volunteer services are recognized for their excellence at the ceremony, followed by a celebration luncheon. Honoring these outstanding achievements inspire others to get involved, encouraging more Nebraskans to step forward and make a difference in their own communities.
