Celebrating America’s Semiquincentennial: An Interfaith & Community Event with a Diaper Drive for the Monarch Family Resource Center in our community.

📍 LOCATION: 709 S Henry St, Farmington, MO 63640
(Held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints)

🍔 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM: THE CHARITY, THE FLAVORS & THE VOICES

• DIAPER DRIVE: Bring your donations of Diapers(sizes 3-7 needed) , wipes, and pull-ups. These will be given to the Monarch Family Resource Center(a faith-based nonprofit offering free pregnancy support, parenting classes, and family resources, including pregnancy tests, first-trimester ultrasounds, and educational programs on topics like prenatal care, healthy relationships, and child development, with an “Earn While You Learn” program where parents earn points for baby items.
• CELEBRATING AMERICA POTLUCK: Join us in honoring 250 years of American heritage with a coast-to-coast feast! Our congregation is providing dishes like St. Louis ribs, Idaho potatoes, New York Cheesecake, Texas chili, Mississippi mud pie, California rolls etc etc.
• SHARE YOUR REGIONAL FAVORITES: The public is invited to bring their favorite American dishes to share as well. Show off your favorite state or hometown specialties!
• LIVE COMMUNITY CHOIRS: Experience local unity with patriotic musical performances from area schools, college, and various faith denominations singing in harmony.
• CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES: Fun games and family activities for kids of all ages.

🎥 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM: THE FINALE CONCERT

• THE TABERNACLE CHOIR ON THE BIG SCREEN: Gather in the church gym for an incredible, immersive 2-hour patriotic concert broadcast by the world-renowned Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square performing their “Songs of Hope” benefit concert at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California. The centennial celebration concert will featuring special guest artists Donny Osmond, David Foster, and Katharine McPhee.
