VetFest 2026

VetFest 2026 will be centered at the Skinner Plaza in Hagåtña, the capital of Guam, focusing on the evolution of Guam’s military community. The celebration will showcase the “past, present, and future” of Guam’s military community:

The Schedule of Activities are:

● 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Joseph Flores/Ypao Beach Park): A U.S. Air Force flyover will take place subject to approval by military command. This flyover will occur at a Veteran’s Organization’s gathering to honor our nation’s service members and veterans.
● 4:00 p.m. (Skinner Plaza): A formal ceremony will commence, featuring a flag-raising and the commemoration of all monuments in the plaza, including the Purple Heart Memorial and the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument.
● 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (Skinner Plaza): Community festivities will include live music performed by veteran and a Veterans Art Exhibit showcasing the creative talents within our community.
● Evening Grand Finale - Fireworks (location TBA)

Key Features and Initiatives

● Mini Parade of Colors: A multi-service color guard and marching units, including JROTC, will parade around Skinner Plaza.
● The formal introduction of the recommissioned Guam Insular Force Guard.
● Food trucks, games and activities for all ages.
● Beer Garden: A roped-off area near the Guam Museum will be managed by Got Your Six 71 (GY671), with beverage donations by Ambros.
● Food truck slots will be given to veteran-owned businesses, and veteran-owned small businesses may set up pop-up shops free of charge.
