Western Welcome Week Grand Parade

Western Welcome Week – 98 years of celebration community with one of the biggest parades in the southwest metro area! Featuring equestrians, high school marching bands from across the state, tractors, floats, and more, but mostly fun!

Our theme – Colorful Colorado – 150 Years is dedicated to this year marking the 150th anniversary of Colorado statehood (it's our sesquicentennial). Get on your creativity and show your point in Colorado's history or a combination of points in Colorado history. Have fun with the theme!

At the same time, America is celebrating 250 years since signing the Declaration of Independence (its semiquincentennial).

Together, in 2026, Colorado and America celebrate our Sesquisemiquincentennial, or 250-150 for short! This once-in-a-lifetime moment is an opportunity to reflect on our shared history, celebrate our communities, and shape the future together.
