America means freedom to me, people have freedom and a second chance to change their lives. I came here for a better life. In my home country, I used to play in the streets without shoes. Now that I am in America I have a home, my family and plenty of shoes. America can give anyone a second opportunity. Unfortunately, some people still judge others because of their cultures or their skin tone. In the beginning moving was hard but when I got adapted to America some people were friendly. America means a chance for a better life.
Join all Americans and share your story about your history and your hopes and dreams for the future of our country. Together, we will tell the American story through videos and the most inclusive commemoration in our history.
