What does America mean to you?

By: Caleb H.

I grew up for much of the first 10 years of my life in Asia. In China, we had no freedom to vote or say whatever we want. In the Philippines, many of my neighbors had no access to good education. They would probably grow up to be homeless or very poor. Now living in America, I have the freedom to say whatever I want, and I am receiving a good education. I dream of growing up and helping America achieve great things in science. To me, America means freedom and possibility.
