What does America mean to you?
By Emily W.
Peabody, Massachusetts
I have traveled to many places in America. The states I have been to are Florida, Utah, North Carolina, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Illinois and I’m traveling to Maryland and Washington, D.C. Now I live in Massachusetts which has many historic sites. I live in Peabody, the birthplace of George Peabody, where my grandpa works as the museum director. My ancestors came from many countries, including England, Ireland, Scotland, Portugal and France. I love to travel and I’m happy to have freedom and this is what America means to me.
