Elegant 24K Gold-Finished Ornament Honors America’s History and Spirit Ahead of the Semiquincentennial; Available Now at Store.America250.org

Washington, D.C.— November 17, 2025 — America250, the bipartisan organization charged by Congress to lead celebrations for the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, today announced the launch of the Official Commemorative Ornament of America’s 250th Anniversary Celebration, created in partnership with the White House Historical Association (WHHA).

Each year, the WHHA produces a collectible, American-made ornament to honor a president’s time in the White House or commemorate a significant White House anniversary. This holiday season, WHHA is offering the Official 2025 White House Christmas Ornament to continue this cherished tradition. Ahead of 2026, WHHA and America250 are presenting the early release of the A250 commemorative ornament to mark the U.S. Semiquincentennial as a unique and noteworthy addition to this ornament collection. Such releases are exceptionally rare and reflect the significance of this historic milestone as we prepare to celebrate 250 years of our nation’s journey.

Proudly designed and made in the United States, this limited-edition ornament honors the ideals of freedom, democracy, and unity that have defined America since 1776. Finished in 24-karat gold and featuring the text of the Declaration of Independence printed on authentic linen, the piece arrives in a keepsake box intended to be passed down for generations.

While designed as a collectible to be displayed year-round and commemorate this once-in-a-generation milestone, the ornament also serves as a timeless addition to holiday décor. It will be available for purchase exclusively at Store.America250.org beginning November 17, 2025. The ornament will be available at shop.whitehousehistory.org and from additional retailers beginning in January 2026.

A Collaboration Celebrating Craftsmanship and History

As America250 inspires programs and partnerships nationwide to mark the Semiquincentennial, this collaboration with the White House Historical Association brings artistry and tradition together in a singular commemorative piece.

“With this ornament, we celebrate not only 250 years of American independence but also the enduring creativity and craftsmanship that define our country,” said Rosie Rios, Chair of America250. “It’s a beautiful way for Americans to hold a piece of our shared story—and to be part of the moment as we look ahead to 2026.”

The design emerged from a months-long process informed by national market research and the White House Historical Association’s legacy of excellence. Each ornament is hand-assembled, finished with 24-karat gold, and reflects the Association’s meticulous attention to detail and dedication to preserving American heritage.

“In partnership with America250, the White House Historical Association is proud to create a collector’s piece that embodies the spirit and history of our nation,” said Stewart McLaurin, President of the White House Historical Association. “We hope this will be a treasured keepsake for decades and even centuries to come.”
