Exclusive Pre-Show Activations at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to Feature Interactive Fan Moments, Family-Friendly Entertainment, and Ways to Take Part in Giving 4th

WASHINGTON, D.C. – June 26, 2026 – America250 today revealed the Block Party Village, an immersive pre-show fan experience bringing together iconic brands, interactive activations, live entertainment and community partners ahead of America’s Block Party Los Angeles at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on July 4.

Opening at 3 p.m. PDT on July 4, 2026, the Block Party Village will transform the area surrounding the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum into a festive destination where attendees can get a taste of favorite foods and drinks, snap photos, play games, and enjoy live entertainment. Show goers will be invited to participate in Giving 4th, America250’s new call to make giving back part of Independence Day celebrations. Guests can connect with nonprofits and community partners, participate in acts of service, and make donations as part of the nationwide movement.

The experience will bring excitement to fans heading into the America’s Block Party Benefit Show. The show will feature performances from 12-time Grammy Award winner Chris Stapleton, Grammy Award-winning rock icons The Smashing Pumpkins, 11-time Grammy Award-winning artist and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Chaka Khan and Grammy-winning artist and Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated actor Anthony Ramos and will be hosted by Grammy, Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning and Academy Award nominated musician, actress, and producer Queen Latifah. Doors open at 6 p.m. PDT and live performances will start at 6:30 p.m. EDT.

America250 is the only national, nonpartisan organization charged by Congress to help lead the celebration and commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Its mission is to engage all 350 million Americans through national programming, major events, partnerships and public participation opportunities.

Iconic Brands Bring the Block Party Village to Life

Block Party Village visitors will experience a lineup of 18 engaging activations designed for guests of all ages.

  • America250 will welcome guests into the heart of the celebration with patriotic photo moments, giveaways and opportunities to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the declaration of independence. Guests can meet George the Star, America250’s loveable new mascot and learn about Giving 4th, a new initiative encouraging Americans to make giving back part of this historic milestone.
  • Join Coca-Cola to Drink in America and Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday in Los Angeles! Guests can enjoy an ice-cold Coca-Cola sample, interactive games, a photo activation, and exclusive limited-edition Coca-Cola merchandise. Visitors can watch a local artist paint a mural that will have a lasting legacy in the LA community, enter for a chance to win exciting America250 prizes, and enjoy music from a live DJ. With shaded seating and plenty of ways to engage, Coca-Cola invites everyone to relax, connect, and celebrate this historic milestone together.
  • Kraft Heinz invites guests to experience ‘The United Tastes of America’ and celebrate the 4th of July with one of America’s favorite pastimes – a summer cookout. Since no cookout is complete without Kraft Heinz brands, guests will be able to get free Oscar Mayer hot dogs and Kraft Singles cheeseburgers (while supplies last), which will be personalized with their name written in Heinz Ketchup or Mustard, or Kraft Real Mayo. Fresh off the Wienie 500, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will also make an appearance, where fans can meet the Hotdoggers and have the chance to win fun giveaway items.

  • Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles is proud to host a booth at the America250 America’s Block Party as we celebrate our nation’s independence and the spirit of community.   • Hoopbus is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rooted in the belief that basketball has the power to transform lives, build bridges and uplift communities. They serve and inspire—bringing the game to the places where it’s needed most. They host interactive basketball activities, skills challenges, games, giveaways, and community engagement opportunities designed to bring people together and create a fun, inclusive experience for all attendees.
  • AmeriCorps, the federal agency that fosters civic engagement through national service and volunteering, will promote opportunities to engage Americans in communities across the country throughout the 250th anniversary year and beyond.
Honoring America Through Service

In addition to activations hosted by America250 and its partners, the Block Party Village will feature a barbershop quartet, colonial fife and drum corps, patriotic stilt walkers portraying iconic American figures, complimentary face painting and airbrush artistry for guests of all ages.

Attendees will also be asked to put the spirit of Giving 4th into action by connecting with participating nonprofits, pledging service hours, making charitable donations and learning about ways to give back in their own communities.
