America250 Foundation Leadership Transition

After discussions with Joe Daniels, CEO and President of the America250 Foundation, about differing philosophies concerning the role of the Foundation, the Foundation Board has accepted Mr. Daniels’ resignation which is effective October 2, 2022. We appreciate all of Mr. Daniels’ hard work and service, and sincerely wish him well in his future endeavors. Mr. Daniels has conveyed his deep appreciation to the Foundation team and his best wishes for the success of the project. We look forward to continuing the momentum to commemorate our nation’s 250th anniversary in 2026. Former Interim CEO and President Tony Rucci will return in his interim capacity starting on Monday, October 3 pending the identification of a new President and CEO.
